We are grateful for every contribution. This Refund Policy explains when and how a donation may be refunded. Our approach is clear, fair and donor-friendly.
Donations are voluntary gifts to our charitable work and are generally final and non-refundable, because funds are committed quickly to seva such as fodder, meals and relief. However, we understand that genuine mistakes happen, and we will review eligible refund requests fairly.
To request a refund, email us at seva@yashodalay.org within 7 days of the donation, quoting your transaction or receipt ID and the email used to donate. We will acknowledge your request and review it promptly.
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method through our payment partner. Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 7 to 10 working days, subject to your bank or card issuer's timelines.
If a donation for which an 80G receipt was issued is refunded, the corresponding receipt is cancelled and must not be used for any tax claim. We will confirm the cancellation in writing.
You may cancel a monthly donation at any time to stop future charges. Cancellation does not automatically refund gifts already made; those are handled under the eligibility rules above.
For any refund question, contact us at seva@yashodalay.org and we will help.
